Our Projects and Programmes
Child Protection continues to evolve, with particular changes in
knowledge and focus occurring in the last 10 years. As a
result there is a necessity for updating and further training in
child protection matters.
The RCPCH is developing an e-learning training programme that
will update its current child protection materials for use by
consultants and other career grade staff.
Brain Pathways: Promoting Earlier Diagnosis of Brain Tumours in
Children is a two-year project which aims to enhance the awareness
of symptoms that are indicative of brain tumours in children and
young people
This course aims to improve the quality of child health care in
primary care clinics in the West Bank and Gaza. The curriculum
covers the whole field of child health from acute illness to mental
health and from clinical skills to disability.
The RCPCH and e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) are developing
an e-learning resource to support the implementation of best
practice set out by the 'Healthy Child Programme'.
The Adolescent Health e-learning programme aims to improve the
health outcomes and experiences of all young people who come into
the care of healthcare professionals.
