Safeguarding Children

Child Protection continues to evolve, with particular changes in knowledge and focus occurring in the last 10 years.  As a result there is a necessity for updating and further training in child protection matters.

 

Child Protection: Maintaining and Updating Competences

The RCPCH is developing an e-learning training programme that will update its current child protection materials for use by consultants and other career grade staff.

 

Brain Pathways Project

Brain Pathways: Promoting Earlier Diagnosis of Brain Tumours in Children is a two-year project which aims to enhance the awareness of symptoms that are indicative of brain tumours in children and young people 

 

Teaching Child Health in Palestine

This course aims to improve the quality of child health care in primary care clinics in the West Bank and Gaza. The curriculum covers the whole field of child health from acute illness to mental health and from clinical skills to disability.

 

Healthy Child Programme

The RCPCH and e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) are developing an e-learning resource to support the implementation of best practice set out by the 'Healthy Child Programme'.

 

Adolescent Health Programme

The Adolescent Health e-learning programme aims to improve the health outcomes and experiences of all young people who come into the care of healthcare professionals.
