RCPCH WALES
The RCPCH is represented in Wales by the Wales Executive
Committee, and the Wales administrative office located in
Cardiff Bay.
The College supports the organisation of the bi-annual
Welsh Paediatric
Society Autumn and Spring Meetings (in association
with the College), and the St David's Day Lecture and Study
Afternoon, which is hosted by RCPCH (Wales).
The Wales Office administers the Wales Executive Committee,
organises national meetings, and acts as a source of information
and communication between paediatricians and other child health
professionals and interested organisations.
RCPCH Council
The Wales membership is represented on the governing Council of
the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health by the Officer
for Wales, Dr. Iolo Doull, and Regional Council Representative, Dr.
Justin Warner
Liaison with Welsh Assembly
RCPCH Wales liases with the Welsh Assembly Government on a
consultative level, as well as being involved in the decision
making processes affecting child health in Wales.
