Our activities

• Appraising guidelines for possible endorsement to the College's standards
  
• Supporting paediatricians to develop guidelines that meet the College's standards
  
• Producing College guidelines that are evidence based
  
• Encouraging paediatric involvement in the development of guidelines from National Institute for Health and Cilnical Excellence (NICE), Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) and other developers
  
• Working closely with the National Collaborating Centre for Women and Children's Health (NCC-WCH) to help ensure NICE guidelines meet the needs of children
  
• Supporting paediatricians with the audit and implementation of guidelines
  
• Co-ordinating national and regional audits
  
• Encouraging paediatricians to suggest guideline topics for NICE and SIGN
