The College's revised standards
for endorsement are as follows:
S1. The key criteria of the
AGREE instrument have been met
S2. The guideline has been developed with
adequate paediatric/College involvement from the outset
S3. The guideline adequately
addresses comments made during consultation
S4. The wording of the recommendations is
a fair reflection of the evidence
S5. The guideline has been developed in
conjunction with the Clinical Standards Team, where
appropriate.
The standards that apply depend on the type of group
that has developed the guideline:

Guidelines developed without College involvement from
the outset cannot be considered for endorsement by the
College but may be supported by the College. If you are
developing a guideline and would like to be considered for
RCPCH endorsement please contact the
Clinical
Standards team.
