UK Enrolment Application Period

The next UK enrolment application period opens at 9am on 15/02/10 and closes at 5pm on 08/03/10. For all 2010 enrolment dates please see dates and fees.

 

  • Applications will not be accepted earlier than the published opening date. 

  • Please note there will be a new Enrolment form for this round, you must  submit a new form.  Any old forms will be returned to you. 

  • Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted, so you are advised to ensure that your application arrives in time.  Please be aware of the current postal strikes as this may affect receipt of your application.

  • In a change to previous rounds you may be able to enrol if you are not in a paediatric training post. You must be:
    1.  In-between posts and intending to return to a training post shortly
    2. Your Educational Supervisor or College Tutor must support your application by 
         completing the following form. Non training post trainees Non training post trainees 
         This must be submitted with your enrolment application.
     
  • Please note that if you do not know your Educational Supervisors details at the time of filling out your form, you can still enrol, and you will still gain access to your e-portfolio and on-line assessment accounts.  However you will be limited as to what you can do with these accounts until you are linked to your Educational Supervisor.  Please see the e-portfolio part of the website for details regarding how Educational Supervisors can be linked to a trainees e-portfolio account. For your on-line assessment account, contact the on-line assessment team when you have this information. 

  • If you wish to enrol because you are an IPTS trainee please note that this is a seperate process to UK enrolment.  You will need to contact the IPTS department for information regarding this.  

 

DEADLINES FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS:

  • The completed application form, accompanied by the appropriate fee and any other documents required must reach the College before the published closing date.

  • Allowances cannot be made for postal or other delays, and late or incomplete applications cannot be accepted. Applications that arrive after the closing date will be returned.

  • Applications that are late due to insufficient postage will not be accepted.  The college is not responsible for paying excess postage.

  • Applications are accepted and processed on a first-come-first-served basis. 

 


How To Enrol

  2. Download and complete any additional forms you require (please see concession forms below or non training trainee form above.)
  3. Return completed form ensuring payment is enclosed (if necessary) to the RCPCH address.

Please note you may be entitled to a concession if you fall under the following categories.

What happens once I enrol with the RCPCH?

 

If you have submitted a UK Enrolment form:

  • Once your form has been received and processed you will receive a confirmation e-mail from the RCPCH.  Please note that the length of time this takes depends on the amount of forms we receive.  This should take roughly 2- 3 weeks after we have received your application
  • Your e-portfolio and online assessment account will be created shortly after this. For further information regarding online assessments please visit the AsSET webpage.

Updating your details

Are you already enrolled as a trainee? If so, it is very important that the RCPCH has the most up to date information.  Please ensure that we have your latest details by signing onto your RCPCH account, which you will find on the right hand side of the home page.  If you do not have an account you can create one by following the link  RCPCH online account.

 


ePaedMSF (Formally e-SPRAT)

 

Please note that e-SPRAT has now changed its name to ePaedMSF. 

There will be 1 further round of ePaedMSF (formally e-SPRAT) during the next training year in April 2010 (dates to be confirmed)

Change of enrolment status.

If you are an SPR and have previously enrolled with the college you can now request to change your previous enrolment status.  This only applies to SPR's and you must already be enroled with the college.  You can do this by visiting the Change of enrolment status page. Change of enrolment status
