encourage all trainees, embarking on a paediatric training

the enrolment

If you have recently been recruited to a paediatric post and

Doctors with work
permits
Doctors in training with a National Training Number (NTN )
but holding a work permit, Tier 2 or Highly Skilled Migrant
Programme (HSMP) visa will need to apply for extension of time
when their visa is due for renewal. It is best to begin looking
into what is required under the new regulations a few months before
renewal time, to ensure that all preparations can be made prior to
application. To demonstrate that maintenance is provided for, it is
advisable to have a letter from the employing trust / deanery as a
recognised sponsor (they should be A-rated) confirming that the
trainee is in a paid position and will not require any support from
public funds. All other requirements for extension of visa must
also be fulfilled.
To all trainers
We would be grateful if you could give feedback regarding your
training by completing the Postgraduate Medical Education and
Training Board (PMETB) trainers' survey by following the link:
