futureThe Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health oversees national recruitment to Paediatrics for both Run Through training (ST1-4) and for subspecialty training at level 3 using the NTN Grid.

Both the NTN Grid and Specialty Training (ST) recruitment have annual national recrutiment rounds. 

 


These pages contain useful information for trainees applying to  paediatrics. We also hope that anyone considering a career in paediatrics will find them a useful guide to the application process.

Main Round Recruitment 2010

National Paediatric Recruitment opens at 10am on Friday 4th December and closes 10 am Friday 18th December.

NTN Grid

The NTN grid is a matching process for trainees wishing to spend their final stages of training in a subspecialty in order to gain entry onto the Specialist Register as a Consultant in a paediatric subspecialty. For further information on the NTN Grid please click here


National Recruitment - 2009

Main Round 2009 was sucessful in filling 97% of ST posts overall, and 100% of ST1 posts in paediatrics.
