Paediatric palliative medicine is the medical care of children suffering from conditions that will limit their lifespan, particularly those who are not expected to survive beyond childhood.
Paediatricians from across the country come together to share new research and findings on key areas of child health at this year’s RCPCH Conference in Glasgow.
This meeting will be attended by Palliative Care Professional Providers, Geriatrics, Oncologists, General Practitioners, Intensive Care Specialists, Nurses, Social Workers, Neurologists, Pediatricians, Psychologists, Nephrologists, Pulmonologists, Physical Therapists, Gastroenterologists and other paramedical professionals interested in improving basic palliative care skills and knowledge.
Topics will include Clinical Aspects and Symptom Management, Communication and Coping, The Palliative Care System – Definitions and Characterizations.
