College tutors' web forum

The College tutors' forum is the first of its kind provided by the College. The aim of the forum is to provide College tutors with the opportunity to discuss any issues that arise day-to-day with other tutors across the UK. Only College tutors will have access to the forum, and you will need to sign in to gain access.

New standards set for emergency care of children and young people

From mental health, substance and alcohol abuse to major incidents involving serious injury or death, thousands of children and young people pass through the NHS each day needing emergency care.  Now, a new series of standards set out minimum requirements for how children in emergency settings should be treated - covering areas from service design and environment to staff training and safeguarding.

Making an application to the MTI(p) scheme

Applications for Medical Training Initiative (paediatrics) posts starting in 2013

For non-UK/EEA paediatricians to undertake high-quality postgraduate training in paediatrics for a maximum of 24 months, before returning to work in their home countries.

Throughout the MTI (p) recrutiment process this page will be updated to provide useful guidance and documentation relating to making an application to the scheme.
