Developing a revalidation e-system

Information on an Academy of Medical Royal Colleges-funded project to develop an online revalidation portfolio to support paediatricians' collection of evidence for revalidation.

Aims

Development of an RCPCH online revalidation portfolio that meets the needs of paediatricians, with links to the existing online CPD diary system and other related systems.

RCPCH approach

The College is designing and implementing a system to support specialist revalidation that will command the confidence of the public, the GMC and the doctors who participate.    Use the links to move to the relevant section.

CPD activity approval

Organisations wanting CPD activity approval from the RCPCH can gain this by referring to the CPD activity approval section of the website.

Activity approval is not mandatory but many organisations request it to enable them to place RCPCH CPD credit allocations on their event, activity or course documentation.
