Standards of care

clinical12.jpgThe College is committed to raising and maintaining standards in paediatrics and child health. Our work includes developing, influencing and promoting policy to support paediatricians in improving children's services, as well as service reconfiguration modelling, setting standards for clinical practice and child protection.

We undertake quality improvement projects and national clinical audits to evaluate whether standards are being met and to help improve the quality of care.

We work closely with affiliated speciality groups, and engage directly with paediatricians, clinical managers and networks, as well as children, young people and their families to help drive improvements.
