Become more confident in the assessment of children with developmental disorders and improve your knowledge of tools and services to support diagnosis and ongoing management.

This new, one-day course will help you to understand the scope of developmental disorders in children and their presentation. Covering practical clinical skills and management approaches the course will also consider the co-ordination of child and family centred care and how it may be delivered in a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency setting.

Delegates will have the chance to discuss complex and grey cases with peers, colleagues and experts and will gain practical support in day-to-day clinical management.

Objectives & learning outcomes

By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

• Understand the scope of developmental disorders and how they may present
• Consider co-ordination of child and family centred care and how it may be delivered with multi-disciplinary and multi-agency care
• Be more confident in the assessment of children who have developmental disorders and know of tools and services to support diagnosis and ongoing management
• Discuss complex and grey cases with peers, colleagues and experts; and gain practical support to clinical management
