Clinical Leadership and Service Development Training
Overview
This course forms part of the training programme for the RCPCH Global Links project.
Due to the content cover in this course, the course is open for all trainees and NQT consultants, scenarios discussed throughout the course will cover both UK as well as international examples.
There are five basic modules shown diagrammatically below:
- Understanding and promoting learning and performance
- Modelling leadership behaviours
- Monitoring function and achievement of individuals and organisations
- Leadership communication skills
- The leadership of change
Speaker
Max Coates was a secondary head for 12 years. He has worked for the University of Bristol Post Graduate School of Education and St. Mary’s University College. He is currently a post-graduate lecturer in leadership at the London Centre for Leadership in Learning (Institute of Education) . He is the Programme Leader for the MA Leadership and also the delivery of Leading and Managing Change and Improvement (Clinical Education).
