Effective named and designated doctors are vital to ensuring that safeguarding services are both high priority and high quality in the NHS. RCPCH is holding an event that will cover the following:

Health and Social Care Bill
The Munro Review of Child Protection
Working Together to Safeguard Children - revised statutory guidance
The Department of Health's Safeguarding Accountability Framework

Overview

The event will give you the opportunity to:

Be briefed on current reforms
Inform College responses to the reform
Know how to drive the safeguarding agenda in your local area
Identify gaps and help design future College work

Accredited for up to 5 CPD points.
