BPSU - Information for investigators

The British Paediatric Surveillance Unit (BPSU) welcomes applications from clinicians and researchers who wish to carry out national surveillance on rare childhood diseases.

The BPSU provides access to over 3,400 paediatricians and lessens the burden on those clinicians of requests for information from numerous different sources. The BPSU Scientific Committee also provides expertise and support to prospective researchers to ensure that research methodologies are effective and appropriate.

These pages provide information about applying to set up a BPSU study, resources on ethics and confidentiality and information about involving the public and patients in research.
