The College has a Royal Charter and is governed by bye-laws and regulations. The membership bye-laws and regulations are regularly reviewed by Membership Committee and Council to ensure they comply with current legislation and best practice. All changes to the bye-laws and regulations need to be approved by the membership via the AGM, additionally bye-laws have to be approved by Privy Council.

The bye-laws and regulations that govern membership are available for download below. Find further information on the history of the College and its bye-laws here.

The Membership bye-laws and regulations govern the way that members are elected and admitted.

The bye-laws and regulations related to subscriptions and termination of membership outline the procedures for setting membership subscriptions, and the termination of membership either due to failure to pay the membership subscription, mis-conduct or through voluntary resignation.
