Executive Committee

The Executive Committee (EC) is elected by the members of the Scottish Paediatric Society at the Annual General Meeting.

The President serves on the EC as President Elect for the first year and then as President the following year.

The EC also includes an Honorary Treasurer serving six years, and seven EC members who are elected for three years.

Annual General Meetings

The Annual General Meetings of the Scottish Paediatric Society are held immediately before the annual St Andrew’s Day Paediatric Symposium in November of each year. The venue alternates yearly between Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. Attendance is open to all members of the Society.

The next AGM will be held on: 17 November 2017, more information shall follow closer to the time.

Constitution

The Society shall be called "The Scottish Paediatric Society" and its objects shall be the advancement of academic, scientific and clinical knowledge of Child Health and Paediatrics and the promotion of friendship among paediatricians in Scotland.
