Exam fees in 2017

December 2016

Due to increasing costs related to clinical exam centres, rises in the cost of travel and accommodation for examiners and patients and administration costs, we have increased fees for MRCPCH Clinical by 10% in the UK and by 7% overseas.

MRCPCH Clinical is pioneering: it uses hospital settings and real patients to simulate clinical experiences, making it authentic and true to practice. The costs and resource associated with this activity have steadily increased over time along with an increase in hosting events on weekends.

RCPCH theory examinations have also increased by about 6% due to test centre rate increases and again due to administration costs.
