CPD Activity Approval
This page outlines the process for an educational activity to gain RCPCH CPD approval.
The RCPCH CPD approval process
Please submit:
- Completed application form - Application for External CPD Approval (PDF, 280 KB, 2 pages)
- Finalised programme of the activity
- Evaluation sheet for the activity
The documents must meet the CPD approval criteria summarised in this CHECKLIST for RCPCH CPD Approval Application (PDF, 108 KB, 1 page) and be sent to cpd@rcpch.ac.uk no later than six weeks in advance of the activity.

Types of activities and approval fees
- Commercial organiser, sponsor or pharmaceutical company* - £150.00
- Non-commercial organisation with income stream* - £25.00
- Non-commercial organisation with no income stream - no charge

The RCPCH CPD approval process is in line with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges Standards and Criteria for CPD Activities framework guidance.
