CPD Approval

This page outlines the process for live educational activities to gain RCPCH CPD approval. We also approve e-learning for CPD credits - see Approval of Distance Learning (DL) for CPD section below.

 

The RCPCH CPD Approval of live educational activities

Please submit:

The documents must meet the CPD approval criteria summarised in this checklist(PDF, 210 KB, 1 page).

Please submit your application no later than six weeks before the activity via email to cpd@rcpch.ac.uk.

Types of activities and approval fees

  • Commercial organiser, sponsor or pharmaceutical company* -  £180.00
  • Non-commercial organisation with income stream*  -  £30.00
  • Non-commercial organisation with no income stream  -  no charge

The RCPCH CPD approval process is in line with the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges Standards and Criteria for CPD Activities framework guidance.

 

The RCPCH Approval of Distance Learning (DL) for CPD

Please submit a Completed application form. (MS Doc, 282 KB, 3 pages) eight weeks prior to the planned launch/prior to inclusion of RCPCH approval on all relevant materials to cpd@rcpch.ac.uk.
