Resources - Simulation and TEL

A library of resources to support the delivery of simulation and technology enhanced learning (TEL) in all Schools of Paediatrics.

The below resources have been produced by the RCPCH simulation and TEL working group.

The College aims to create a web-based library of resources, and the following items are the first steps towards that aim. We will add to this library as further resources are developed.

Quality assurance and standards guidelines

These quality assurance (QA) and standards guidelines help ensure that appropriate standards and quality assurance are being met. They aim to support excellence in education and training of the multi-professional paediatric team.

Job description for simulation /  TEL lead

This job description template complements the QA and standards guidelines, enabling deaneries and LETBs (Local Education and Training Boards) to identify an appropriate lead to take this area of work forward.

This document is intended as guidance and local/regional variances will be acceptable. This lead is not a centrally appointed RCPCH postholder.
