Committees for education and training
A number of RCPCH committees deal with issues on training, assessment, continuing professional development and revalidation.
About the committees
They advise trainees and supervisors on aspects of the training pathway - from entry into training to the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) - as well as the quality management of training and assessment and how training can be delivered.
They help with careers promotion and offer expertise to other organisations involved in training.
College Specialty Advisory Committee (CSACs) have particular responsibility for monitoring Level 3 trainees' progress through their sub-specialty training, advising and signing off sub-specialty CCTs and the continued development of their Level 3 curriculum and assessment systems.
The Training Services Team coordinates and administers a number of committees dealing with training and trainee issues.
