Committees for education and training
The Education and Training Support Team coordinates and administers a number of committees dealing with training and trainee issues. The Certification and Revalidation Team coordinates and administers the CPD sub-committee and the Revalidation Development committee.
Committees relating to training and assessment advise trainees and supervisors on aspects of training from entry into training to completion of CCT. They also advise on the quality management of training and assessment, how training can be delivered, assist in careers promotion and offer a source of expertise to other organisations involved in training.
College Specialty Advisory Committee (CSACs) have particular responsibility for monitoring Level 3 trainees' progress through their sub-specialty training, advising and signing off sub-specialty CCTs and the continued development of their Level 3 curriculum and assessment systems.
If you are a Level 3 trainee looking for information relevant to your sub-specialty, please visit your sub-specialty page in the trainees resource section of the website. If you require contact information for your sub-specialty CSAC please see CSAC Committees Contact page.
