START

START (Specialty Trainee Assessment of Readiness for Tenure, formerly ST7) has been developed over the last three years by a large UK team and was piloted twice over 2009-2010.

  • New trainee bulletin available START statement February 2012  (PDF, 8KB, 2 pages)
  • All trainees who have entered Level 3 training on or after 1 August 2011 will be required to undertake START before applying for their CCT
  • Applications for START will be accepted from 30 July 2012, closing date 10 September 2012
  • The first START Assessment of 2012 will take place 9-10 November 2012

  • Training days will be run for START assessors at the College on 27 (this day is now full) and 28 September 2012 and the Hilton Hotel in Leeds on 4 October 2012
