Examination Publication Dates for 2011 and 2012
To find out when MRCPCH and DCH Examination Results are due to be published on the website and when hard copies will be sent to candidates please see the timetable below.
General Information
-
Results will be posted by first class mail within 5-6 weeks of the date of examination. They will be available on the online system 4-5 weeks after the date of the exam. Please refrain from telephoning the college regarding your results during this period, as this will delay the process further. A notice will be placed on the website informing candidates as to the exact date upon which results have been issued for each examination.
-
Results for all candidates sitting in overseas centres will be sent by courier to the local organiser for local distribution.
-
Under no circumstances will results be given to candidates over the telephone.
-
No additional copies of examination results letters will be issued until at least 1 week after the date of issuing the initial results.
-
Additional examination result letters can only be faxed or e-mailed to candidates providing that contact details have been provided with the initial application. Requests for results letters to be faxed or e-mailed to a different number/address to that supplied, or where a number/address has not previously been given, must be accompanied by the signature of the candidate concerned.
- Should a candidate wish their results to be sent to a different address than that given with their application, please write the new address in the space provided on the reverse side of your admission document. This will be collected during the examination.
Reporting results to Heads of Schools
With the new programme of run through training in the UK it is necessary that Regional Advisors, Programme Directors and Heads of School are kept informed of candidate progression through the MRCPCH. After each examination the Examinations Team will now routinely send a report on examination performance to each respective deanery. This will facilitate a process whereby the requirement for any necessary additional support for trainees can be better identified and targeted.
