Welcome to the recruitment area for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

RCPCH sets and maintains standards for the education and training of all doctors working in paediatrics and child health in the UK. Additionally, through a variety of activities, it influences the quality of medical practice for children in hospital and in the community. 

Right now we are concentrating on expanding the portfolio of the College and have refocused our services to work in greater partnership with statutory, voluntary and independent organisations to advance child health.

To deliver this ambitious agenda the College now has a three-year College Plan with five strategic aims. I firmly believe that staff have a pivotal part to play in this exciting transformation process and I am passionate about encouraging creativity and innovation across the whole of our staff for it is these very skills that will help the College realise its aspirations.

I also believe that for staff to deliver high quality services we must invest in them to develop new skills and enhance existing ones. The College has a comprehensive continuous and professional development programme for all staff to access, which also includes opportunities to access secondments, shadowing, mentoring and coaching.
