E-Card
Electronic BPSU Orange Card
At the end of January 2011 the BPSU commenced a nine-month trial of using an electronic Orange card instead of the current paper card.
During the trial we hope to establish whether the high response rate, which is vital to the robustness of the BPSU, can be maintained through moving to an e-based system.
Who is taking part?
A random sample of all those receiving the cards was selected. This means that from January 2011 for nine months these clinicians will receive an electronic orange card via email and will no longer be sent the paper version. The email will come from the address BPSU.OrangeCard@rcpch.ac.uk
If you have not been selected as part of the trial group you cannot receive an ECard at the moment
What is involved?
We are asking recipients to complete the electronic card each month by clicking the link even if you do not see any cases. It will be designed to only take a minute to complete.
If you have been selected to be part of this trail but would like your Ecards to go to an alternative address please let the BPSU office by emailing helen.friend@rcpch.ac.uk
Feedback
At the end of the trial we will those who participated about their views on the process.
A report on the results of the trial will be available at the end of 2011.
