RCPCH Ireland is represented by the Ireland Committee and the Ireland administration office is located in Belfast.
The External Affairs Manager, John McBride, is responsible for ensuring that the work of the Ireland Committee under its Chair, Dr Karl McKeever, is carried forward, and that we engage on the key health policy issues that impact on infants, children and young people.
This means engaging with policy makers and lobbying the Minister for Health as well as delivering localised training and events for our members in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
