Dr Paul Torpiano

Dr Torpiano will be delivering his keynote talk, 'Migrant health and me: a young EAP story' as part of the European Academy of Paediatrics plenary session at the RCPCH Conference and exhibition on Wednesday 29 April 2020.

Paul was born in Malta in 1989. He graduated from the University of Malta medical school in 2012, and is currently working as a Higher Specialist Trainee in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Health at Mater Dei Hospital in Malta, a post he has held since 2018.

He is a member of RCPCH and the Royal College of Physicians, and read for a postgraduate diploma and Master of Science in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at Oxford University from 2016-2019. He was a founding member of the Young European Academy of Paediatrics since its inception in 2017, and has been the Young EAP representative for migrant health since 2018. He also enjoys playing the piano and writing and performing music.
