Paul joined RCPCH as Director of Corporate Services in February 2022. He is responsible for continuously improving how the College runs - focussing on strategic financial planning, funding & income diversification, project governance and enhancing value for money to our membership.
Paul has wide-ranging industry experience, most recently in the rail sector as CFO (Executive Director) of the Rail Safety & Standards Board (RSSB) where he helped transform the long term financial sustainability of the business by implementing a strong control environment, rethinking its approach to non-core income generation and driving forward investment in digital transformation projects to achieve operational efficiency.
Paul is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) underpinned by a BSc (Hons) in Accountancy & Finance at the University of Warwick. He is also a Non-Executive Director (NED) at the Chartered Certified Accountants Benevolent Fund (CCABF) which supports members and dependants across the globe who face hardship and are experiencing severe financial difficulties.
