Dr Andy Spencer will explain SNOMED CT and its role in the future of clinical coding and the relationship with ICD10 and OPCS and HES data.

This is particularly timely in view of the new coding requirements with the official NHS England implementation date in April 2018.

Dr Andy Spencer has been a national clinical champion for SNOMED over the past 5 years, having worked as a National Clinical Lead for the HSCIC (now NHS Digital) in close cooperation with the UK Terminology centre. He organised the first pilot study of SNOMED across a range of specialities and has published widely on the subject.

This webinar is free of charge.
