This course will help delegates to develop an approach to the management of common paediatric skin disorders and how to recognise rare and complex conditions that require specialist referral.

About this course:

By the end of this course, delegates will develop a clinical approach for the investigation and management of skin conditions affecting children, understand how to perform skin treatments including use of topical steroids and emollients and be able to investigate skin disorders including how to undertake a skin biopsy

  • Hair and nail disorders

  • Naevi and pigmentary disorders
  • Dermatitis artefacta
  • Neonatal skin disorders
  • Adolescent dermatology including acne
  • Skin “lumps and bumps” seen in children

This course is for Paediatricians of all grades and all health care professionals who work with children and would like to learn more about Paediatric skin disorders and how to manage them.
