About this webinar

Whooping cough is a cyclical disease, with spikes occurring every three to five years. However, we are currently seeing unusually high numbers of cases, which we think is due to a lower-than-expected uptake of the vaccine that contains protection against whooping cough.

In this webinar, Professor Shamez Ladhani will discuss the latest epidemic, vaccine uptake and modelling, and talk about some of the national cases. Professor Adam Finn will discuss clinical features and the history of the vaccines used. There will also be an opportunity for a Q&A with the presenters.

Target audience

This webinar is suitable for all health care professionals, including Paediatric Consultants, Trainees, SAS doctors, GPs &  GP trainees, Advanced Clinical Practitioners / Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Allied Health Professionals.
