About the role

The Registrar is a Senior Officer role and a Trustee, working closely with the President and Vice President to oversee areas of the College’s governance and ethical framework, and to oversee the College’s relations with other bodies in support of its strategy and membership needs. In accordance with the Bye-laws nominees must be Fellows or Ordinary Members of the RCPCH and the post is subject to election by ballot of all Ordinary Members, Fellows, Senior Members, Senior Fellows and Honorary Fellows of the College eligible to receive voting papers (ie with a mailing address in the UK or Republic of Ireland). Candidates must be nominated by two Ordinary Members or Fellows.
