RCPCH members are invited to apply for the role of Treasurer

Along with other trustees, you will have particular responsibility for oversight of issues such as risk, and how the College fulfils its charitable objectives. As Treasurer, the individual appointed will have an oversight role for financial issues and will update on them to members at the AGM each year. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to join the College’s Senior Officer group and to influence the College’s strategic work and support the improvement of child health within and beyond the UK.

As with all College trustee roles, the post is unremunerated (except for expenses); tailored induction and support will be provided. The role provides a significant development opportunity for the right candidate, and the chance to influence College policy as a Senior Officer at the highest level. Serving as Treasurer would be excellent preparation for other senior leadership roles at the College or elsewhere – as well as providing the opportunity to work with a dynamic Senior Officer team at RCPCH.

The Treasurer is a really key Senior Officer role and as President, I have really valued our current Treasurer and the knowledge and perspectives she has brought to key decisions and discussions.  I think this is a very good role for someone who is interested in working at a senior level in the College, with perspectives across the entire organisation.
