Global Health Consultancy

RCPCH Global Health Consultancy

The GHC is a register of paediatricians and other health professionals who are interested to engage in global child health, particularly in low and middle-income settings.

GHC expertise in maternal, newborn and child health includes:

  • Providing expertise in paediatrics and child health
  • Supporting the design and capacity development of policy, programmes and infrastructure to strengthen national health systems
  • Establishing long-term and sustainable partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Supporting up-to-date evidence-based practice and evaluation

The GHC will record details of members' experience and expertise both in the UK and overseas, what types of projects may be of interest and also likely availability. Contributing to global child health does not necessarily mean travel overseas; some projects are likely to involve desk-based reviews and also hosting visiting colleagues in the UK.

We are also keen for trainees and consultants who have not had experience of working overseas to register, as previous experience will not be essential for some projects.

Get involved

As we continue to develop a broad portfolio of global health activities, we are looking for College members with expertise in a wide range of areas to join the register.
