BPSU - Who we are

It is operated in cooperation with:


  • The day to day running of the Unit is undertaken by the Scientific Coordinator and Research Facilitator, supported by two medical advisors.

  • The BPSU Governance Board provides strategic direction to the BPSU and Scientific Committee. It reviews priorities and progress of the BPSU. It assesses risks and develops future plans for the Unit and Scientific Committee to take forward. For further information on the BPSU Governance Board, click here.

  • The BPSU Scientific Committee oversees scientific matters, providing advice and support for those undertaking and wishing to undertake surveillance of rare paediatric disorders.
