CSACs have particular responsibility for monitoring Level 3 trainees' progress through their sub-specialty training, advising and signing off sub-specialty CCTs (certificates of completion of training) and the continued development of their Level 3 curriculum and assessment systems.

In this round we have a number of vacancies across a range of CSACs, including Child Mental Health Training Advisor, General Paediatrics Assessment Advisor, Paediatric Palliative Medicine Assessment Advisor and more. See the downloads section for all role descriptions.

I’ve valued working with a new team who clinicians would not normally meet: the RCPCH staff. It has been, in a way, a second family away from hospital clinical work which has been both a great experience and also educational.... After all what are we doing this ‘job’ for? It is to provide high quality training for the next generations of paediatricians.

Dr Peter Dale, Officer for Training
