This annual event highlights developments in child protection, and is specially developed for a Scottish audience. It's a one-day course that gives delegates updates into particular child protection areas and addresses common challenges faced by paediatricians when concerns arise about risk of harm to children and young people.

The Study Day is aimed at trainee and career-grade doctors (both generalists and specialists) who wish to update their knowledge in child protection.

Topics are all currently debated in the child protection field and are picked by the RCPCH Scotland Child Protection Subcommittee as a result of feedback from previous Study Days.

It also provides a valued networking opportunity. 

This event is suitable for Child Protection level 3 competencies. CPD points have been applied for.
