"One of the best academic events I've been to."
Building on the success of last year's event, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, the RCPCH and National Institute for Health Research are hosting a day of talks and networking for aspiring and current paediatric trainees.
A variety of inspirational speakers will give talks and facilitate breakout sessions with small groups. These sessions will give you the opportunity to consider a number of important topics with experts in the field.
Watch highlights from last year's event.
This year's speakers include:
- Professor Anne Greenough, Professor of Neonatology and Clinical Respiratory Physiology, Director of Education and Training at King's Health Partners Academic Health Science Centre and Vice President for Science and Research at the RCPCH
- Professor Paul Dimitri, Professor of Child Health, Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology and Director of Research and Innovation at Sheffield Children's Hospital, and NIHR National Children's Specialty Lead
- Professor Nick Bishop, Professor of Paediatric Bone Disease and Head of the Academic Unit of Child Health at Sheffield University
- Professor Mike Levin, Professor of Paediatrics and International Child Health, and Director of the Wellcome Centre for Clinical Tropical Medicine at Imperial College London
We will circulate a full agenda, with further speakers, to those who have registered for the event nearer the time.
