RCPCHStart (half day assessment for trainees) - spring 2020

RCPCHStart (Specialty Trainee Assessment of Readiness for Tenure) is for trainees in Level 3 training. The assessment is about three hours long, and you will be assigned to a morning or afternoon of the two day period.

RCPCHStart guides you as you prepare for completion of training and practice as a new consultant. It assesses your abilities in relation to clinical decision making as a new consultant and helps you to address any gaps that you may have in your training.

Applications are open from the first Monday in October to the last Friday in November 2019. You'll need to log in to your online account - from your account dashboard go to the RCPCHStart block and follow the on-screen instructions. The fee is £268 for run through trainees and £850 (non-run through trainees).
