About

Thrive Paediatrics is an RCPCH project which supports you to have a long, happy and thriving career in paediatrics. This is a one-day CPD event that has the collective wellbeing and working lives of paediatricians at its heart.

South East Scotland has been selected as one of two pilot sites for developing a regional Wellbeing and Innovation Network, a community of paediatricians and allied health professionals who will share stories and, with the support of RCPCH resources, work together to move towards more positive experiences.

If you work in South East Scotland, this free, in-person event offers you a chance to understand some of the science of wellbeing as well as reflect upon your stories of working as a paediatrician and start exploring the potential of this new wellbeing network. We will demonstrate how to use the RCPCH Roadmap for Transforming the Working Lives of Paediatricians to identify themes and work together to identify realistic things we can do to improve our working lives.

Catering will be provided.

Objectives of the event

  • Understand what Thrive Paediatrics is
  • Understand the science of wellbeing
