It had been our hope that the ceremony could take place with several mitigations in place to reduce risk. However, given the rapidly evolving situation we feel that it would not be responsible to continue.
All Members and Fellows who were due to attend will be offered an alternative ceremony date to ensure that everyone is given the opportunity to celebrate their achievement and membership of the College. We are currently working to establish a plan for our ceremonies over the coming months and will be in touch with all who are eligible to attend with further details when we have them.
I was due to attend the ceremony – will I get my guest ticket money back?
We can confirm that you will receive a full refund to the card which was used at the time of booking. Please allow up to three weeks for your refund to be processed.
I had hired a gown – can I get a refund?
Churchill Gowns have confirmed that 50% of your gown hire fee will be refunded automatically to the card used at the time of booking. You can expect to receive these funds by the end of this week.
The remaining 50% will stay on your account with Churchill Gowns to be used towards your gown hire at the next ceremony. If you do not plan to attend a future ceremony and would prefer a full refund please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 12:00 noon on Wednesday 18 March 2020.
What if I’ve already booked travel/accommodation?
The College is unable to reimburse you for any travel or accommodation costs. We recommend that you refer to your insurance policy to understand your options.
When will I receive my certificate?
Your certificate will be posted to you at the address which you have registered with the College, and you will need to bring this with you to your future ceremony. UK Members and Fellows will receive their certificate within the next two weeks; however, this may be slightly longer for overseas Members and Fellows.
