RCPCH Conference and exhibition – a message from the RCPCH President, Professor Russell Viner

As the newly elected President of the RCPCH, I am excited to see how Conference can continually inform and inspire the paediatric community and build excellent relationships with our fantastic partners, sponsors and exhibitors.

At the heart of the event are the children and young people who will have their voices heard throughout the Conference.

No sooner had we finished a successful Conference in Glasgow in March 2018 we immediately began work on planning for 2019, which I am pleased to advise is at the ICC Birmingham on 13-15 May 2019.

Keep an eye on this newly launched, user-friendly website for updates on the programme and content of this educational conference.

If you haven’t attended before, I strongly recommend you join us for three days of interactive networking, lively debates, current topics and media related sessions. We secure the highest calibre of keynote and plenary speakers whom inform and educate on a variety of child health issues. In the exhibition hall, you can meet with organisations that can help improve your services or introduce new ways of working and collaboration and we thank them for their continued support.

At the heart of the event are the children and young people who will have their voices heard throughout the Conference; together, they work with us to continually inspire the paediatric community to keep doing the excellent work they do. Without them, this conference couldn’t exist.

I really hope to see you at the ICC in Birmingham for what is set to be another inspirational RCPCH Conference.
