RCPCH Conference - a message from the President

As the 2020 RCPCH Conference approaches, RCPCH President, Russell Viner shares his thoughts on our upcoming flagship event.

What a fantastic time we had at the 2019 RCPCH Conference and exhibition – I look forward to another educational and energising event in Liverpool from 28 to 30 April 2020.

Always a forward looking event, the theme for our upcoming conference will be ‘Innovating for child health’. As the programme takes shape, we are thrilled to confirm some of the keynote speakers and sessions, and our conference committee have their work cut out as they are tasked with reviewing over 950 abstract submissions to ensure we showcase the best and latest research and innovations in child health.

Keep an eye on the conference web pages for updates on the programme and content.

At the heart of the event are children and young people who will be participating in talks taking place in the main auditorium, at special workshops and on the RCPCH &Us exhibition area, throughout the three days.

In challenging and unpredictable times, I believe it is vital that we have the opportunity to come together to share experiences and learn from others.

If you haven’t attended before, I recommend you join us for three days of lively debates, a high quality mix of sessions and unique networking opportunities. We secure the highest calibre of keynote and plenary speakers who inform and educate on a variety of child health issues. In the bustling exhibition hall, you can meet with organisations that can help improve your services or introduce new ways of working and collaboration and we thank them for their continued support.

I really hope to see you in Liverpool for what is set to be another inspirational RCPCH Conference and exhibition.

Don't miss out on discounted early bird booking which closes on Thursday 27 February. Find out more about the RCPCH Conference and exhibition.
