Applications for these awards opened on Monday 4 September and will close before the end of the year. Winners of each award will be presented with their award at the RCPCH Conference, taking place on 25-27 March 2024.
Simon Newell Award
The Simon Newell Award, run in collaboration with RCPCH, Sparks and GOSH Charity, is offered to recognise excellence in research to an outstanding young medical research worker in British paediatrics.

RCPCH-NIHR PIER Prize
The RCPCH-NIHR PIER (Paediatric Involvement and Engagement in Research) Award recognises the multidisciplinary research teams who make outstanding contributions to involving paediatric patients and families in the development and delivery of NIHR Clinical Research Network Portfolio studies.
