We're delighted to announce this year's winner of the RCPCH Global Programme Development Grant. Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH)'s one-year programme is identifying gaps in the quality of post-discharge care and how to make improvements and scale up, despite limited resources.

The study aims to determine the incidence of FAS in the UK and Ireland, investigate which services are accessed by babies and children affected by the condition and raise awareness about FAS among clinical practitioners.

We have won two major grants to continue delivering the national Emergency Triage, Assessment and Treatment Plus (ETAT+) programme with Ministry of Health and WHO, and to develop a national paediatric nurse training and mentoring programme alongside this.
