We are delighted to announce that Dr Katheryn Ferin won this year's Michael Blacow Memorial Prize for best paper presented during a plenary session at RCPCH Conference and as set by an open audience vote.

Every year the College recognises the very best in paediatric training across the UK. Three amazing members were announced as winners at RCPCH Conference in the categories for Junior Trainee (ST 1-3), Senior Trainee (ST 4-7) and Educational Supervisor.

Dr Clarissa Chase, Professor Colin Morgan and Ms Katie Barnes have won this year's award, which honours members who have done exceptional work in support of child health.

Honorary Fellowship is awarded to a small number of people who are considered by our members to have made a major contribution to paediatrics and child health through research, education, clinical service and leadership.
