Food and drink
As part of your Conference ticket, you'll get a buffet lunch and refreshments at breaks. Make sure you wear your badge at all times so catering staff can identify you. Outside of scheduled breaks you can buy refreshments and other amenities in the onsite ICC Mall.
Our Welcome Drinks reception is on Monday is 17:45 - 19:00 in Hall 3. Included with your Conference ticket, this is an excellent opportunity to meet exhibitors and supporters of Conference, as well as network with senior College officers and fellow colleagues.
Our Conference dinner will be on Tuesday evening at the Park Regis Hotel. You can find out more and purchase tickets to the dinner.
Birmingham has a wide range of hotel rooms near the Conference venue. We have secured exclusive rates for a variety of budgets - take a look and book your hotel.
We are pleased to offer 20% off on Virgin Trains advance fares - find and book your train.
A creche service is available to delegates at no additional cost, and is for children of all ages. You can book this when you register for Conference. Or, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. All creche reservations must be made by 11 April.
If you're presenting a poster, you will have been sent details. You must put up your poster on your allocated day in the gallery of Hall 3 at 09:00. Poster boards will be laid out in numerical order (by poster number) within specialty groups. Your board will have a header panel with your poster title and number, and a small amount of Velcro. If you need help or more Velcro, find us at the College stand or registration desk.
You don't need to stand with your poster all day. But, we recommend you are with it in the refreshment breaks when you can meet with other delegates.
You will need to remove your poster by the following times:
- Monday - by 19.00
- Tuesday - by 17.45
- Wednesday - by 14.15

Instructions for speakers
If you're presenting an oral abstract or or delivering a presentation as part of a workshop, you don't need to send your presentation in advance.
When you arrive, you should take the digital copy of your presentation to the Media Suite, which is open each day of Conference from 07:30. One of the helpful technicians will check your slides and then send to the room where you will be presenting.

The cloakroom is free of charge and open from 08:00 each day of Conference. It is by the front entrance (Centenary Square).
Multi faith prayer room
This is open from 0800-18:00 each day Conference. It is located on Level 3 of the Mall past Starbucks, and can be opened by using the intercom button to security.
