Cystic Fibrosis Trust - Venture and Innovation Award (VIA)

Designed to bring funding from external agencies into the field of cystic fibrosis research, the Venture and Innovation Awards (VIAs) support transformational and innovative research projects.

European Research Council (ERC) - Advanced Grants

Allows exceptional established research leaders to pursue groundbreaking, high risk projects that open new directions in their respective research fields or other domains.

European Research Council (ERC) - Proof of Concept Grant

Open to researchers who have already been awarded an ERC grant. This will be additional funding to establish the innovation potential of ideas arising from the ERC-funded research projects.

Health Foundation - innovating for improvement

Aims to support innovative approaches and ideas. Projects should test and develop ideas and approaches to improve health and social care delivery or the way people manage their own health care in the UK.
