Provides funding for innovative and relevant research on the ataxias that fit into an explicit therapeutic strategy. Will consider research projects, PhD studentships and research fellowships.

Bone Cancer Research Trust - clinical trials top-up scheme

Providing additional support for ongoing clinical trials. The trial may be observational or interventional and can be oncology or surgical. This additional funding may be used to support: -Aligned biological studies -Additional arms or research questions (observational or interventional) -Toxicology studies

British Council for Prevention of Blindness - Research Grants

Grants are offered for research projects that further the goals of ‘VISION 2020: The Right to Sight’. Research grants are available to clinicians, scientists or epidemiologists for 'pump-priming' to develop their research ideas and generate pilot data to facilitate a future application for a substantial grant or to provide funding for a non-clinical PhD or DrPH studentship.
